Message from the Chairman
Hello
and welcome to the Tennessee Republican Party website. I grew
up in a small town in Texas where I first experienced the
power of grassroots Republican politics. My parents helped
mobilize a grassroots movement that led a small local party
into the majority. Their success came as a result of a commitment
to building a movement rooted in true Republican principles
– principles of limited government, more personal responsibility,
belief in our free enterprise system and traditional values.
I believe that by following the same model, Republicans have
been and will continue to be successful in the years ahead.
Like I had said that 2010 was the most important election in a generation, 2012 is even more significant for the Volunteer State. The Tennessee Republican Party will be working to maintain our strong majorities in the State House and Senate, retain Bob Corker’s U.S. Senate seat and elect a Republican President.
As Chairman of the Tennessee Republican Party, I am committed to strengthening our Party and ensuring that we have the best candidates and organized party structure going into the 2012 elections. I pledge to recruit candidates who will work to advance true Republican principles and stand up against those wishing to limit individual freedom and grow the size of government.
If you're interested in getting involved, please take a look around our website. Under the "Take Action" tab, there is a list of ways in which you can help the Tennessee Republican Party reach our goals of victory in 2012. Under the "Coalitions" tab, you can find information about a number of different Republican organizations. Lastly, if you're interested in finding out more about your county Republican Party, pull down a list of every TN County under our "Get Local" tab and find out how to contact your local GOP party.
I know with your help, we will cross the finish line in victory in 2012. Please don't hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions or need any information about efforts to elect Republicans in the state of Tennessee.
Sincerely,

Chris Devaney
Chairman
